It was just one year after the end of World War II in 1946 when a young, 22-year-old lathe operator began making bicycle parts in a small, rented space in a local town 100 miles south of Tokyo, Japan. He manufactured his products with the only asset he owned: a used 5-horsepower manual lathe.
The young man's name is Yukio Nagano, the founder of Nagano Products. Yukio has now celebrated his 90th birthday, but still enjoys getting his hands dirty in the tool room and tinkering with machinery. Even after more than six decades since the company's founding, Yukio's son, Yoshitaka Nagano, continues his father's entrepreneurial spirit as the president of the company.
Today, Nagano Products Co., Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers of automotive tube fittings in the world. The company seeks consistent high quality exceeding customer expectations, aggressively invests in state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge production technology, and maintains a financially strong family-owned business.
We take great pride in the fact that we operate worldwide and provide top quality products to more than twenty countries. We are a growing company, but we remain faithful to our founder's original ideals and commitment to quality.
We currently export our products to customers in the US, Canada, China, South Korea, India, Australia, Southeast Asia and Europe. Exports represent roughly one third of our total sales.
In 2003, we inaugurated a new manufacturing center in Chicago, Illinois, which now supplies both North and South America, and in 2012 we established a subsidiary in China, providing closer support and service to our Chinese customers.
We are continually expanding our business globally, meeting our customers' needs for unparalleled expertise and excellence.
